Abu Said and the Dragon

Abu Said sent one of his disciples to a mountain village. This disciple was boastful, and he expected the villagers would welcome him as an honored guest.
Going up the mountain, the disciple met an enormous dragon; its footsteps made the mountain shake.
The terrified disciple fell to his knees. "I come from Abu Said," he whispered.
The dragon gasped. "Abu Said! Speak to me of him!"
The disciple fainted with terror; when he awoke, the dragon was gone.
Forever after, the disciple was no longer boastful, but humble.
Abu Said said only, "Ah, that dragon! We are good friends."
