The Crocodile and the Monkey

King Crocodile was dying.
"He must eat monkey-heart-stew," said the doctor, so a Crocodile went to see Monkey.
"My dear Monkey!" he shouted. "Come to our village feast!"
"But I can't swim," Monkey replied.
"Don't worry!" said Crocodile, smiling. "I'll carry you."
Monkey jumped on Crocodile's back and away they swam.
"Actually," Crocodile said apologetically, "our King needs your heart as medicine."
"Oh, but I left my heart at home!" said Monkey. "Take me back to get it."
Crocodile swam back, and Monkey jumped up in the tree.
"Foolish Crocodile!" he shouted. "You won't catch me again."
King Crocodile died.

Notes: You can read the original story online. This is a story found in the ancient Indian Panchatantra, and there are lots of YouTube videos of the story as a result, like this one: Monkey and The Crocodile Story in English - Panchatantra Stories.
