"Monkey, you're strong," said Anansi. "Help me kill Tiger!"
"I can't," said Monkey. "He's my godfather."
Then Anansi went fishing and invited Monkey to come eat. But Tiger came and ate all the fish; Monkey got none.
Monkey was mad.
Cat laughed at them both and said, "Let's kill Tiger together."
So Monkey fought Tiger, while Cat got a fire-stick and Anansi got a mortar, and they beat and burned and crushed Tiger till he was dead.
Peacock saw what they did, but they gave Peacock gold to keep their secret, and Peacock is a rich man to this day.
