Tansen and the King of Rewa

On his way to visit a neighboring kingdom, the great singer Tansen was met by a royal sedan-chair.
"The king invites you to ride to the palace!"
Tansen was pleased, but when they arrived, he was disappointed that the king hadn't come out to greet him.
Dismounting, he asked, "But where is the king?"
"Here he is!" said one of the bearers, pointing to another bearer. "The king helped carry you here."
Tansen bowed and saluted. "O King, I will never salute anyone else with this hand; it is for you alone."
So the king and Tansen honored one another.
