Jacob's Wrestling

Jacob was alone in the night; then a man was there. They wrestled until dawn. This is the soul wrestling with the ego.
Then that man said to Jacob, "Let me go; it is dawn."
Enlightenment means letting go of the ego.
No more I, no more attachment.
Then the man asked, "What is your name?"
"Jacob," he said. "What is your name?"
The man did not say, and Jacob realized that he was in the presence of God.
No longer I, but Thou.
In the unity, there are no names.
Jacob called that place Peniel, The Face of God.
