The King Boasting of Vedanta

A guru taught his king about Brahman, the infinite, unchanging Reality without distinctions.
The king then said to his queen, "There's no distinction between you and a maid-servant. This maid-servant will be my queen!"
The queen went to the guru for help.
"Don't worry," he said. "Just serve pig slops together with the rice tonight."
"What is this filth?" shouted the king.
"Remember Brahman, Your Highness!" intoned the guru. "No distinctions!"
"Then you eat it!"
The guru became a pig, ate the slops, and became human once again.
Astounded, the king restored the queen and no longer boasted about Brahman.
