"Here is food for the God," a brahmin said to his son. "You make the offering."
The boy prayed to the God's image on the altar
"Please accept this offering," he said. But the God wouldn't come down.
The boy begged, but the God didn't move.
He pleaded. Nothing.
Finally the boy began to weep, and the God came down from the altar and ate the food.
The boy went back to his father, who asked, "Where is the prasad?"
"The God ate it!" the boy replied.
The brahmin could tell his son spoke the truth. It was a miracle!
