Mother-Rabbit and Eagle

An eagle stole some baby rabbits to feed to her own chicks. The mother-rabbit ran after the eagle. "Show mercy!" she begged, but the eagle left not a single baby rabbit behind.
The mother-rabbit then called a meeting of all the rabbits, and they decided to get their revenge. They went to the tree where the eagle made her nest, and they burrowed holes beneath it, nibbling through all the roots.
At the first gust of wind, the tree toppled down, and all the baby eagle chicks were scattered to be eaten by animals or other birds of prey.
