Guess What I Have in my Pocket

Nasruddin liked to play guessing games with his friends. So, one day he said to his friend, "If you can guess what I have in my pocket," said Nasruddin, "I'll give you a reward. Go on! See if you can guess!"
"Well," said his friend, "first tell me what kind of reward you will give me."
"I'll give you an apricot as a reward," said Nasruddin. "Now, tell me what I've got in my pocket."
"I think you've got an apricot in your pocket!" his friend replied.
"That's right!" said Nasruddin in amazement. "But how did you know?"
