The Hyena Who Eavesdropped

A hyena was walking along near a human village. When he heard people shouting at each other, he stopped to listen.
As he listened, he realized it was a husband and wife, and they were quarreling.
"I'm so angry at you!" the husband shouted at his wife. "I should just pick you up and throw you out of the village where the hyenas can kill you and eat you."
The hyena sighed. "There are things you hear with your ears," he said to himself, "but you know your eyes will never see them."
Then the hyena continued on his way.
