Hyena was always trying to eat Rabbit, and Lion was always trying to eat Hyena, although Hyena pretended he wasn't afraid of Lion.
One day Hyena happened upon Rabbit in the forest. "What are you doing here?" Hyena asked, snarling. "Tell me, or I'll eat you!"
"I'm here waiting for Lion," said Rabbit. "We're going to go eat hyena-liver stew at his house."
"Lion... is coming here?" Hyena asked.
"Yes," Rabbit replied. "He should've been here already." Rabbit then shouted, "Hurry up, Lion! I've got what you need for your stew right here."
Terrified, Hyena ran off, and Rabbit laughed.

Notes: You can read the original story online, both in English and in Kamba.
HAHA! Rabbit is so cunning! It reminds me of the little mouse in The Gruffalo. And fortunately Hyena is hilariously gullible too!
