The Fish-Eagle and the Hyena

Fish-Eagle and Hyena were both expecting children, boasting how their strength and the strength of their offspring.
"I dare you to come with me into the forest to give birth!" said Fish-Eagle.
"But where would we get water there?" replied Hyena.
"At the river," said Fish-Eagle.
Hyena accepted her dare, and they gave birth in the forest.
When Fish-Eagle became thirsty, she flew to the river, drank, and returned to her chicks.
But Hyena traveled slowly in the forest. She walked one day, then another, still not reaching the river. Hyena died, and her cubs died too, awaiting her return.
