A man went to a sadhu, professing utter humility.
"Let's see," said the sadhu. "Humble though you are, I'm sure you can find something lower than yourself."
The man looked, but he could find nothing more lowly than himself. Then he noticed his own turd. "Aha, this is the lowest of the low!"
To his surprise, the shit replied, "You are the one who made me thus. I was a very nice cake, suitable to be given to the gods, but look what you did to me."
And so the man returned to the sadhu after having been truly humbled.
