A doctor was gathering medicinal plants when he heard a voice. A lime-fruit was speaking to him!
"Pick me!" the lime shouted. "I'm the best! There's no plant with better medicine than me. My leaves, my juice, seeds, pulp, skin — everything about me is powerful!"
The doctor was even more amazed when he heard the voice of God.
"Oh Lime," boomed the voice of God, "I created you, but in your boasting you have forgotten all about me. To punish your pride, your powers will be spread amongst all the citrus fruits, and you will be forever green and sour."
